Description:

TROVO®powder B is manufactured in a continuous extrusion process, creating a borosilicate glass foam which is ground and screened to size.
The process creates porous, irregularly shaped glass particles on the order of a few micrometers in size.

Properties:

Porous, amorphous borosilicate glass powder manufactured from glass foam. High liquid absorption capacity. Good resistance to hydrolysis. Low thermal expansion.

Applications:

Flame retardant additive, abrasion-resistant functional filler for polymers with isotropic properties.
